The Orihuela Costa is a string of coastal communities south of Torrevieja, known for its beaches, coves and golf courses.
Where is the Orihuela Costa?
The Orihuela Costa is the coastal part of the municipality of Orihuela, even though the town of Orihuela itself is some way inland. It runs along the coast south of Torrevieja and is made up of several areas, including Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor by the sea, and Villamartín, Los Dolses and Las Ramblas a little inland. Alicante airport is usually under an hour away by car.
Beaches, golf and shopping
The coastline is a mix of sandy beaches and small rocky coves, with a coastal path in many places. Inland there are several well-known golf courses, including Villamartín, Las Ramblas and Campoamor. La Zenia Boulevard, one of the largest shopping centres in the area, is right in the middle, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants, especially around La Zenia, Cabo Roig and the Villamartín Plaza.
What kind of property can you buy?
Most homes on the Orihuela Costa are apartments and bungalows on developments with communal pools, many of them close to the beach or on the golf courses. There are also townhouses and detached villas, especially around Villamartín and Cabo Roig. It’s very popular with holiday-home buyers and with people looking for a home they can rent out.

I don’t always have one of my own listings here, but I work with around 400 collaborating agencies, so I can find and show you most of the homes on the market. You deal with me from the first viewing to the day you get your keys.
